Noodling For Catfish

Usually we stick to conventional hunting and fishing information, but I thought everyone might get a kick out of these pictures I found on the Internet.  Ever hear of a fishing technique called "Noodling". Its a term coined in the south describing a particular way of fishing. Basically you wade out into the river and feel for holes or large logs on the river bottom. When you find a hole or hollow log you stick your arm in a feel for a catfish. If there is one there you stick your arm into its mouth. It clamps down on your arm and you pull out the catfish. Here are some pictures of what they come out with. Try not to think about this the next time you decide to go swimming in a river.
